Dropping the Question of Mass Destruction

*As we speed toward the November 6th election and even faster toward the next presidential debate, I believe there is but a single question which Mitt Romney could pose that would virtually bring the Obama campaign, not to mention his Canadian made bus…To a screeching halt.
Romney would need to preface the single simple question with a statement and that could be done either in his next opening or closing statement. I would suggest that should Romney win the coin toss he should choose to go first.
Now before I reveal that statement and simple question, we should take a quick look back at the last 4 years.
During Obama’s time in office, he has yet to pass a budget and even though his party controlled both the house and the senate for the 1st two years, Obama has steadfastly blamed republicans for the lack of a budget.
When it comes to the deficit, we have racked up more than a trillion dollars per year during the Obama administration and, Obama has blamed republicans for that too. Well…Republicans and George W. Bush.
During Obama’s 4 years in office, our National Debt has increased by more than 5 trillion dollars. Who’s to blame? George W. Bush because, as Obama has blathered over and over again…Things were worse than he thought when he took office.
For the first time in our history, our credit rating has been downgraded…twice…so who might be held to blame by the Obama team?
Republicans.
George W. Bush…Republicans…Republicans…George W. Bush and on and on it goes.
Hmmm….
Fast and Furious. Who has Obama blamed for Fast and Furious?
He says it started under…George W. Bush.
It didn’t but that’s the claim by Obama. Obama said HE didn’t know anything about Fast and Furious and THEN…He cloaked it with Executive Privilege.
Libya? Who’s fault is Libya?
Well…Let’s see…What day is it???
First it was a You Tube Movie…Then it was terrorism…Then it was the fault of the Intell people…The FBI was engaged in an ongoing investigation for 3 weeks when they weren’t even within a couple hundred miles of the scene of the attack.

During the debt ceiling debates…Obama was blaming “Tea Party Terrorists!!!”
Now then…I’m getting to that question, believe me but before I do…there’s a little something else we need to reflect upon.
Obama told us that HIS would be THE most transparent administration in history didn’t he?
He told us that the Obamacare discussions would be on CSPAN didn’t he?
He told us that every bill would be shown to the American people for 3-5 days before he signed it didn’t he?
Obama said he would NOT govern by Executive Order…Didn’t he?
Remember all of that? Of course you do.
Okay…Here is the opening or closing statement Mitt Romney can make, including the simple question, that will grind Obama to a halt.

With that, I would ask my opponent…
From the deficit to the national debt, from Fast and Furious to Benghazi…From our national credit rating to our policies in theaters of war…Sir…over the 4 years of YOUR time in office…With whom has the buck stopped?”Imagine if you will…THAT question, prefaced with THAT statement…Being asked BY Mitt Romney TO Barack Hussein Obama at the next debate on LIVE television before 60 MILLION Americans.
How on earth would he answer that question?
If he says the buck has always stopped with HIM…He would be admitting the mess we’re in now is HIS fault…AND he’d be admitting that his “blame Bush” strategy has been a red herring.
If he says something like, “It’s not that simple…” he would be admitting that he’s NOT a leader.
If he tries to ignore the question…Oh my…
I’m telling you…Obama would be wiped out if Romney dropped the question of mass destruction.

I THINK WE HAVE HAD QUITE ENOUGH OF WHAT THE PRESS USES AS “WEAPONS OF MASS DISTRACTION”: ANYONE WHO READ THE COVER OF USA TODAY KNEW THAT WE WERE AT WAR WITH IRAQ BECAUSE OF SATELLITE PICTURES THAT SHOWED THE WARHEAD, AND SHOWED THAT IT HAD BEEN MOVED OR THAT IS WAS BURIED IN THE SAND. IF IT WASN’T FOR THAT PHOTOGRAPH, I’D BE AS CONFUSED AS EVERYONE ELSE, JUST LISTENING TO OTHER PRESS ORGANIZATIONS WHO RATTLED OFF OBJECTIONS. THE BOTTOM LINE IS: OSAMA USED SADDAM AS A FINANCIER, SADDAM WENT TO THE FRENCH, WHO BALKED ON THE DEAL WHEN THEY FIGURED OUT SADDAM WAS BUYING IT ON BEHALF OF OSAMA. THOUGH THE NUCLEAR WARHEAD WAS NOT FOUND, SADDAM INTENDED TO BUY ANOTHER ONE, AND THE STASH OF MILLIONS OF AMERICAN DOLLARS AT HIS PALACE AND DRUGS SHOWED HOW.

THOUGH GAS PRICES ARE HIGH, IRAN IS NOT STEALING FROM AMERICA, NOR ARE THEY CAUSING US BODILY INJURY. YES THERE ARE TERRORIST GROUPS, YES THEY ARE INTERNATIONAL TENSIONS AND DISPUTES, BUT NEGOTIATION “SITTING DOWN AT A TABLE” NEVER OCCURRED WITH OBAMA, SO AHMADINEJAD WAS ASKED TO HAVE A SEAT ON THE GLOBAL COUNTER-TERRORISM COUNCIL TO DIFFUSE TENSION AND TO GET HIM TALKING ABOUT HOW HE FEELS PAST THE POLITICALLY OFFENSIVE RHETORIC.
BECAUSE IRAN HAS BEEN GIVEN VOICE WITH OTHER WORLD LEADERS, THEY SHOULD BE TREATED WITH RESPECT, DESPITE THE NATURAL REVULSION TO RHETORIC.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — In a bid to ease international concerns over its nuclear program, Iran has converted more than a third of Tehran's most highly enriched uranium into a powder for a medical research reactor that is difficult to reprocess for weapons production, experts and U.N. monitors say.
The work — noted in a technical report by the U.N.'s nuclear watchdog agency in late August — suggests Iran is trying to display enough goodwill to restart nuclear talks with world powers, while aiming to soften demands by the U.S. and others to halt Tehran's top-level uranium enrichment.
An influential Iranian parliament member, Hossein Naqavi, said the country was taking a "serious and concrete confidence-building measure" by converting some of the 20 percent enriched stockpile into U3O8, or uranium oxide, in the form of powder.
The move also appears to be part of a wider strategy to seek relief from tightening Western sanctions in exchange for step-by-step plans to scale back uranium enrichment, which Washington and its allies fear could lead to weapons-grade material. Iran insists it only has peaceful nuclear ambitions.
But it has offered no substantial concessions to cut into Iran's stockpile of 20 percent enriched uranium, the highest level acknowledged by the Islamic Republic. Iran already has enough to provide fuel for its Tehran research reactor for years and labs are equipped to make more material at that level, said Olli Heinonen, former director-general at the U.N.'s International Atomic Energy Agency who headed the organization's Iran file until 2010.
So far, Iran's proposals have met with resistance from the West as the economic toll from the embargos take a toll, including protests this week after the nation's currency shed nearly 40 percent of its value.
Iran's 20 percent enrichment program is among the core disputes. That's because it can be boosted to weapons-grade far more rapidly than the 3.5 percent-enriched uranium used for Iran's lone energy reactor.
Iran says it needs this degree of enrichment for its medical research reactor, which can produce isotopes for cancer treatment. It also has announced plans to build more such reactors. The U.S. and allies want Iran to halt the 20 percent production and ship the rest of the material outside the country.
The impasse has put talks on hold between Iran and a six-nation group, the permanent Security Council members plus Germany.
Iranian officials repeatedly insist they will never give up the capacity uranium enrichment. But tightening Western sanctions and growing public outcry could open Tehran's leadership to more deal-making.
The U.N.'s IAEA confirmed in its Aug. 30 report Iran had made U308 — uranium oxide — from 71.25 kilograms (157 pounds) of its total of 190 kilograms (nearly 419 pounds) of 20 percent enriched uranium produced until mid-August.
U308 is effectively off the table as a material for possible weapons production, experts say.
The powder is turned into fuel plates for the reactor, but it is complicated and dangerous to try to change the radioactive powder back into a gas state needed for the enrichment centrifuges, said an Iranian nuclear scientist, Rasoul Sediqi Bonabi, a professor at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran.
And, more importantly, Iran doesn't possess the technology even to make an attempt, he added.
"Once converted into U3O8, it's not usable for producing bomb grade uranium and of little proliferation concern," Bonabi told The Associated Press.
Iran insists it does not seek atomic weapons and is only using nuclear technology for energy production and medical applications.
Naqavi, spokesman of the parliament's security committee, said the move is expected to facilitate talks between Iran and the world powers and pave the way for a diplomatic solution over Tehran's nuclear activities.
"Iran has demonstrated" its rejection of nuclear arms, said the lawmaker Naqavi, spokesman of the parliament's security committee.
But the former IAEA official, Heinonen, estimated Iran is still producing about 15 kilograms (33 pounds) of 20 percent enriched uranium a month. That could rise to 20 kilograms (44 pounds) a month if Iran expands work at an enrichment facility in Fordo, which is dug deep into a mountainside south of Tehran.
Some experts say Iran would need 200 to 250 kilograms of 20 percent uranium to turn into one nuclear warhead. Others say anything above 170 kilograms is enough.
Mark Fitzpatrick, director of the Nonproliferation and Disarmament Program at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, said Iran's decision to produce U308 is "slightly reassuring."
"It tends to confirm that there is a civilian purpose in enriching to this level," he said in an emailed statement.
But Fitzpatrick and another American nuclear scientist disputed Bonabi's assertion that Iran doesn't have the technology to reconvert the material.
Iranian engineers have the know-how to convert the U308 powder back to gas for the enrichment centrifuges, Fitzpatrick said.
"It would not take long to set it up," he said, noting the procedure is similar to the existing conversion line of uranium ore concentrate — known as yellowcake — to a gas known as UF6 that is the feedstock for enrichment.
Matthew Bunn, an associate professor at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government, also said Iran has the ability to reconvert the oxide into uranium gas.
"It is possible ... Iran has the technology," he said.
Heinonen noted, however, that any debate about Iran's conversion to the U308 powder "might not really be an issue" since it already has a critical mass of 20 percent enriched uranium.
"And the stocks are likely growing," he said

DUBAI (Reuters) - Cyber attackers have targeted communication networks on Iranian offshore oil and gas platforms in the past few weeks, but their attacks have been repelled, a state official was quoted as saying on Monday.
Iran, the world's No. 5 oil exporter, has tightened cyber security since its uranium enrichment centrifuges were hit in 2010 by the Stuxnet computer worm, which Tehran believes was planted by Israel or the United States.
Mohammad Reza Golshani, head of information technology for the Iranian Offshore Oil Company, told Iran's Mehr news agency that a cyber attack had targeted the offshore platforms' information networks.
"This attack was planned by the regime occupying Jerusalem (Israel) and a few other countries," Golshani said, adding that Iranian experts were able to repel the attacks.
"Currently telephone operations on the platforms and in the areas of Iran's oil and gas operations in the Persian Gulf are normal and have no problems," he said.
Israeli officials regularly decline to comment on allegations of any clandestine activity. Israel has threatened military action against the Islamic Republic's nuclear installations if Western sanctions on Tehran's banking and oil sectors do not persuade it to shelve its disputed atomic programme.
Western powers suspect Iran is trying to develop the means to produce nuclear weapons. Tehran says it is enriching uranium only for civilian energy.
Last week an Iranian official said cyber attackers had targeted Iranian infrastructure and communications companies, disrupting the Internet across the country.
And last month a commander in Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards said Iran was prepared to defend itself in case of a "cyber war" and deemed it more dangerous than a physical confrontation.
In April Iranian authorities said in April that a computer virus was detected inside the control systems of Kharg Island, which handles the vast majority of Iran's crude oil exports, but the terminal remained operational.
Tehran is working towards developing a national Internet system, which it says would improve cyber security. But many Iranians say the plan is the latest way to control their access to the Web, which is already highly censored.

BEIRUT (AP) — The leader of Syria's main opposition group said Monday that he would not oppose a role for members of President Bashar Assad's ruling Baath party in the country's political future as long as they did not participate in killings during the uprising.
The comments by Syrian National Council (SNC) head Abdulbaset Sieda appear to be a softening of the opposition's stance that it will accept nothing less than the complete removal of the Assad regime and the president's inner circle. He told The Associated Press that the Turkey-based SNC will meet next week in Qatar and will discuss, among other things, the possibility of Vice President Farouk al-Sharaa serving as interim leader if Assad steps down.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said Saturday that al-Sharaa was a figure "whose hands are not contaminated in blood" and therefore acceptable to Syrian opposition groups.
"We are with any solution that stops the killings in Syria and respect the ambitions of the Syrian people in what guarantees that there will be no return to dictatorship and tyranny in Syria," Sieda said by telephone from Turkey.
When asked about al-Sharaa, Sieda said: "We have no information that he participated in the killings or gave orders but he belongs to the political leadership."
Syrian officials say Assad will remain in his post until his 7-year term ends in 2014 followed by an election between Assad and other candidates.
Also Monday, the U.N.'s secretary-general made a strong appeal to halt the flow of arms into Syria and warned that the crisis threatens stability in the entire region. Ban Ki-moon said he is "deeply concerned" about the continued flow of arms to both the Syrian government and opposition forces, and said a "political solution" is "the only way out of the crisis."
Speaking at an international conference on democracy in the French city of Strasbourg, the U.N. chief described the escalating conflict along the Syrian-Turkish border and the impact on Lebanon as "extremely dangerous."
In his speech to the World Forum for Democracy, Ban also said the U.N.-Arab League envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi would return to the region this week to continue international efforts seeking political transition in Syria.
Sieda said the Syrian opposition will not repeat a policy carried out in Iraq years ago when members of Saddam Hussein's Baath party were forced to leave their jobs after his government was overthrown during the 2003 U.S.-led invasion.
De-Baathification, a concept started under the U.S.-led Coalition Provisional Authority which ruled Iraq after the invasion, was an Iraqi government policy of trying to purge important government jobs and positions of former mid- and high-ranking members of the Baath Party.
"We will not repeat the failed experience of de-Baathification," Sieda said. "We will just remove all its (Baath party's) illegitimate privileges and officials who committed crimes will be put on trial," he added. "The Baath party will practice its activities in accordance with the democratic process. We will not have a revenge policy and we will preserve state institutions," he said.
Activists reported violence in different parts of the country, mostly in the central city of Homs, the northern city of Aleppo, and the southern region of Daraa.
The Britain-based activist group Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said 20 people were killed in the southern village of Karak what has been subjected to an attack by government troops. It said the 20 were killed when vehicles transporting wounded people were targeted by troops.
Activists estimate about 30,000 people have been killed in the 18-month-old uprising that has morphed into a civil war.
Tensions remained high along Turkey's border with Syria a day after a Syrian mortar round landed some 200 meters (yards) inside Turkey, near the village of Akcakale. Turkey's military retaliated, targeting locations inside Syria.
The incident follows a deadly attack last week, when another shell hit the area, killing five people and wounding several others.
The Turkish armed forces have deployed en masse to the region, but residents of Akcakale still fear for their safety.
"If this shelling is going to continue day in and day out, we can't live here. We are not safe, our property is not safe," said Hamit Ciftcioglu, whose jewelry store is just 75 meters (yards) from where the mortar round hit Sunday.
Last week, officials decided to re-open schools that had been closed for weeks due to dangerous conditions. But children who lined up Monday morning found they had nowhere to go.
"They told us schools would reopen on Monday. So we sent our children to schools this morning but unfortunately they had to come back. They told us the schools were still closed," said Isa Tokdemir, a father of two.
Turkey has vowed to retaliate against the shelling from Syria and Turkey's parliament last week approved a bill that would allow cross border military operations there.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned Syria not to test his government's patience.

'Real' Unemployment Rate Shows Far More Jobless

While the national unemployment rate paints a grim picture, a look at individual states and their so-called real jobless rates becomes even more troubling.

The government's most widely publicized unemployment rate measures only those who are out of a job and currently looking for work. It does not count discouraged potential employees who have quit looking, nor those who are underemployed — wanting to work full-time but forced to work part-time.
For that count, the government releases a separate number called the "U-6," which provides a more complete tally of how many people really are out of work.
The numbers in some cases are startling.
Consider: Nevada's U-6 rate is 22.1 percent, up from just 7.6 percent in 2007. Economically troubled California has a 20.3 percent real rate, while Rhode Island is at 18.3 percent, more than double its 8.3 percent rate in 2007.
Those numbers compare especially unfavorably to the national rate, high in itself at 14.9 percent though off its record peak of 17.2 percent in October 2009.
Only three states — Nebraska (9.1 percent), South Dakota (8.6 percent) and North Dakota (6.1 percent) — have U-6 rates under 10 percent, according to research from RBC Capital Markets.
Election battleground states paint a picture not much more flattering. Florida's U-6 number is an ugly 17 percent, though Pennsylvania and Ohio are both around 14 percent, below the national U-6 average.
The numbers come as the government prepares to release its latest reading, the July nonfarm payrolls number, on Friday. Economists expect the report show about 100,000 jobs created for the month and the traditional "U-3" rate to hold steady at 8.2 percent.
"The lack of improvement in state U-6 rates continues to be troubling," Chris Mauro, head of US Municipals Strategy at RBC, said in a research note. "While down from recent peaks, state U-6 levels remain dramatically higher than they were in 2007 and 2008."
Mauro used the numbers to demonstrate that investing in municipal bonds remains a challenge because high real unemployment rates will be a drain on local finances.
"We remain concerned about the corrosive influence that these stubbornly high U-6 rates may have on both consumer sentiment and state and local tax revenues," he said. "At current levels, these U-6 rates will continue to be a drag on credit quality."

HEALTH CARE REFORM RESIGNATION AND ENTITLEMENT REFORM APPROPRIATION ACT OF 2012, effective 1/1/12:

When using the budgetary process of reconciliation, as President, one must have a Senate approved budget. The Senate has been controlled by Democrats since 2006, the debt ceiling has been raised twice since then, and no reconciliation tool can be used when the federal government is operating on a continuing resolution, for the Democrats’ failure to approve a budget for three years.

H.R. 4872 is dead legislation, because there is no money to enact the funded provisions in a $15 trillion dollar deficit, and for the fact that it is outside the scope of constitutional government, in first providing for the common defense.

Colin Powell argued fiercely yesterday that the Tea Party was to blame; however, the Tea Party has found enough cuts and compromised twice, (not whatsoever, as he alleges), to find cuts to continue funding the government and put defense first in priority for operations through 12-16-11.

H.R. 4872, in its summation and appropriation, did not provide anyone with health insurance; it sequestered funding for unconstitutional use of taxpayer dollars: expansion of prisons/use of psychotropic drugs and mandating tax dollars be used to mass-fund abortions.

As anyone knows: spending money on abortions and psychotropic drugs tries to fix societal problems without the proper glue: therefore, there is no money to spend on reducing premiums and managing health care costs through: wellness exams, preventative cancer screenings, and structured surgery cost differential.

Both of these provisions, abortions and prison expansions/psychotropics are misappropriation: citing the 10th Amendment, the Georgia Patients’ Bill of Rights, the Commerce Clause, and moral objections to legislating morality. There is not only an effective moral argument against implementing the legislation, but a glaring lack of finance.

The power of rightful citizenship is to wield the power of the pen, rather than the sword, for the general good of all and is something President Obama does not possess:
he has exploited our legal system, has no authentic record of Hawaiian birth, as he eludes being charged with Social Security fraud and election fraud for dead people and Mickey Mouse voting for him in 2008.

While impeachment drags on, all of Obama’s felonious actions negate anything he has signed into law during this term, for committing perjury: violating Oath of Office, taking in fraudulent campaign donations through convicted Chief Fundraiser Tony Rezko, (who was just sentenced to 10 years in prison), and these donations add up to too many felonies that I have not the time to mention here and various crimes against the public that have warranted the usage of such words as treason and treachery.

H.R. 4872 does not do what it was designed to do, which is, control population growth ethically and responsibly: those who are innocent children conceived face a federally-funded fully-revolving door of the carcass harvesting machine, being sold for scrap parts and stem cell research, now proven ineffective by means of adult stem cells regenerating the heart of the original genetic donor.
Like marrow, stem cells only prove compatible for organ regeneration, so abortion and stem cell research do not require massive government funding, nor do we need to imitate the abortion policies of China, when this science is proven to be limited to those endeavors.

Unethical legislation should not be funded in favor of offering government funded sterilization after the third child, as an option, instead of abortion, which desecrates a woman’s temple!

In conjunction with responsible population control and finance, states were initiated through local courts to uphold these measures of entitlement reform, rather than absorb federal misappropriation:

We also ask that every local state department audit their records of distribution of federal funds through food stamp allotments, welfare, and health care.

Taxpayers do not have to fund human farms: in which a mother is being used as a breeder for gang activity. These are known as “den mothers”, a transient residence for a man who has a child or children with the mother, as he floats from woman to woman. A den mother creates a haven or houses gang members, as the mother of a gang leader’s children, or she changes gangs and permits a rival gang to live in her home. This creates a very hostile and routinely upsetting environment for children to live in on a daily basis: children are starved, beaten, and neglected for the financial supremacy goal the gang tries to achieve.

Given the need to curtail gang activity, and men who propagate children for this purpose who leave the mothers to care for the children solely and stick society with their tab, it is necessary that state DFACS and IRS agents coordinate their investigations for tax fraud. Any family over the 3-child-claim rule should be flagged and monitored for extra scrutiny if they are receiving aid of any kind!!!

Resultant to these inquiries and investigations, states may enact a cut off: to prevent misappropriation and abuse of taxpayers dollars, by refusing to fund aid to families not adhering to the 3-child rule; those who are contributing to broken homes, adoption mills, and pedophile farming and grooming.

States will be assisting the IRS with reports of suspected fraud, and neglect or abuse of children to DFACS, for the violation of policies involved with distributing state aid. Agencies who do not comply will be reported to the appropriate federal authority, and that local office’s funding will be reduced or eliminated.

Taxpayers don’t pay for your computer, transportation, and telephone for you to sit at a desk and ignore the tasks at hand in their communities!!!

Remember: what DFACS and IRS fails to catch then becomes collateral damage on our courts and taxpayer dollars!! The system must function lawfully and ethically, or its various departments are subject to budget cuts and disbanding, like any organization.

REPEAL AND REPLACE, PART 2:
Health Care Reform Act of 2012: Standardization of Procedural and Medical Care Related Costs

Purpose: This concerns the exploitation of health care costs by health insurance companies for profit, companies who are dictating the cost of care that hospitals must charge patients. This legislation is piloting standards for Medicare and Medicaid costs, to prevent the government from being overcharged for services that taxpayers fund for the general welfare. Costs that could better be served creating a program to cover those that are uninsured at state levels, which did not occur with any of the legislation passed under Obama health reform.

While a legitimate funding mechanism was proposed for health care for the uninsured, in order to maintain the solvency and guarantee of retirement for aging Americans through Social Security Reforms proposed August of 2010 as repeal legislation:

While these are great, these two provisions are not enough to keep H.R. 4872 as a means of reconciling the entire health care industry by a federal government buyout. Health insurance companies should ‘insure’ and the federal government should regulate and govern the market, not violate the Commerce Clause by requiring purchase of insurance or medical services, devices, products, or care that is inappropriate, unused, or misappropriated and unaccounted for tax increases.

With that said, the Tea Party supports the Republican initiatives to adhere to this budget, budget balancing, with consideration and concession of government spending in accordance to Constitutional priorities. FOR CONSUMERS TO REPORT SUSPECTED GOUGING AND FRAUD OF GOVERNMENT TAX DOLLARS:
1) REQUESTED AN ITEMIZED BILL: I received a list of shorthand descriptions of services that I couldn’t understand. For example: a $403.68 charge for “IV SUPPLIES”. What were the IV Supplies? The needle? The tubing? The gauze? The piece of tape that kept it all in place on my arm? I called to find out. I was referred to three people, but nobody in the hospital billing department could tell me.

2) DETERMINED FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF MY INSURANCE COMPANY: Blue Cross assured me that they paid out their maximum reimbursement amounts to the hospital for the services I received, and would not be paying any more. They sent me an Explanation Of Benefits form (EOB) and went over it with me to my satisfaction. They said that they were able to negotiate a lower rate with the hospital on my behalf, and covered costs that exceeded my deductable. They suggested that I contact the hospital to see if they would lower my costs, since the hospital determines their own charges.

3) FOUND A PATIENT ADVOCATE: I went online to find people who have gone through this before and discovered a number of Patient Advocacy groups. A couple of them are: Hospital Victims.org (http://www.hospitalvictims.org/) and The Southwest Medical Review and Recovery. (http://www.southwestmedreview.com/) Southwest Medical Review has over 20 years of hospital billing experience under their belt, and left the industry when they realized that they could help people with their knowledge of billing systems. I found them to be very patient and extraordinarily knowledgeable.

4) REVIEWED BILL FOR CORRECT CODING: I sent my itemized bill to my patient advocate for review. A billing code is assigned to each item being charged. This is what is read by the insurance companies to determine how much the hospital will be paid. I learned that up to 90% of all hospital bills are coded incorrectly. My patient advocate told me that there is supposed to be transparency in the billing system – and that there are definitive coding guidelines that apply to each hospital. However, this hospital administers their own coding system – making it impossible to determine exactly what is being charged. Despite this, my patient advocate was able to figure out three incorrect codes in my bill, resulting in over $300 of erroneous charges. They forwarded me the proper verbiage from the most recent coding manual. I went back to the billing department at the hospital and had them amend my bill. The billing specialist apologized for her oversight and resubmitted my bill with the proper coding. I can only wonder how many more codes were erroneous, had they been using a transparent billing system.

5) REQUESTED ALL BILLING AND DOCTOR RECORDS FROM HOSPITAL – PARTICULARLY THE UB-04 FORM: It is the patient’s right, under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, (HIPAA) to receive a copy of all medical and billing records from the hospital. The UB-04 form is used to determine the cost of services. The billing department at the hospital first told me that they would look into releasing my UB-04 form. After repeated requests, I was told that it was not their policy to release this form to the patient. This is typical. Know your rights as a patient. Every hospital has a HIPAA officer on the premises. I called theirs. She said she would look into it for me. I didn’t hear back. She didn’t return my messages. I then contacted the California Office of HIPPA Implementation. They agreed to contact the HIPPA officer at the hospital. A day later, the HIPPA officer called me to get my address and let me know that my UB-04 form was being sent to me. Release of my U-04 form took me a full year.


· The sections of the HIPAA legislation that the state officer referred to were two federal 45 CFR codes: The Designated Record set was under code 164.501 and the Right of Access was 164.524 (a)(1)

6) DESPITE REMAINING IN GOOD STANDING WITH THE HOSPITAL, I WAS SENT TO COLLECTIONS: I kept meticulously close contact with the billing department, who insured me that I was in good standing with them. Every month, when I received a new bill, I called them and assured them that I wanted to settle the balance, and that I was investigating charges that were in question. Each month, I told them that is was my priority to remain in good standing with them. I even paid them $50 in good faith. But when I went out of town, and didn’t get my mail for a week, I was sent to collections. This was also during the time that I was being told that they were “looking into sending out” my UB-04 form. My challenge here was to keep the perspective that it wasn’t personal. Even though I was on a first name basis with many people in the billing department at that point, the overall billing system didn’t know or care about who I was. I needed to be reminded of this – because I was assured that I was kept in good standing with them.

7) KEPT COLLECTIONS DEPARTMENT FROM PURSUING FURTHER PAYMENT: Diligent effort through close communication and refusal to pay any overcharges for my services kept them at bay. I assured them that I would keep them posted to each and every new bit of information that I received – and kept them in the loop every step of the way. I kept telling them that it was my utmost interest to settle the bill – but that I would only be paying fair and reasonable charges, as determined by industry standards.

8) DETERMINED THE COST OF SERVICES: With the codes on the UB-04 form, my patient advocate taught me how to figure out the cost of services. There is an industry standard for determining cost of services. It is simply what Medicare would reimburse for each line item. The reason why they use Medicare as the guideline is because Medicare reimburses between 92 cents and $1.12 on the dollar. So, for example, if Medicare would reimburse a hospital $1.00 for a box of tissues, it is understood that the cost of the box of tissues is between 92 cents and $1.12. My patient advocate and I went over, code by code, the line items on my UB-04 form. They showed me how to track down, on the internet, the reimbursement amount for each charge. Remember the $403.68 charge for “IV SUPPLIES” on my itemized bill? Well, it turns out that Medicare doesn’t reimburse that cost code – those supplies are not billable. Those supplies are included in numerous other services – like the cost for the antibiotic, the cost for administering the IV, etc. After the reimbursement for each line item was determined on my UB-04 form, I had a total – as calculated by industry standards. The total cost of services being billed to me for my emergency room visit came to a little less than $400!

9) CALCULATED FAIR AND REASONABLE CHARGES: There is an industry standard for calculating fair and reasonable charges. Fair and reasonable charges ensures the hospital receive a profit on their cost. Here is the formula: The amount that Medicare would reimburse the hospital + 25% to 50%. So, in my case, we know that the cost of services were – and we’ll round it up - $400. Add to that, 50%, which is $200 - and the industry standard, for fair and reasonable charges for the services that I received, was $600.

10) OFFERED A SETTLEMENT: Between what my insurance company and I had paid, the hospital had already received $905 at this point – already recouping a 125% profit – as determined by industry standards. I went back to the hospital and insisted that I settle with them, not the collections agency. They complied. I chose to offer an additional 100% profit, giving them a 225% profit on cost of services, to ensure that the hospital does well. They denied it. Instead, they offered me an application for financial assistance.

The silver lining is that I somehow qualified for an 80% discount on my bill. They offered me a settlement of $348. I took it. This does not get them off the hook for their enormous over charges, but it does allow me to settle with them what I considered to be fair and reasonable.

“We can charge anything we want”, I was told by Crystal Crowe, Financial Supervisor at the hospital. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center netted in excess of 190 million dollars in 2007 - which I applaud. I feel secure knowing that there is a reputable, well funded hospital nearby. I just want to pay fair and reasonable charges for the services I receive from them.

I know that there is much talk of overhauling the health care system – but until it is changed, this is what we have to encounter. Here’s hoping that this information can help other people navigating through the existing system.


  • Ambulance transport costs are a huge burden to those in desperate need of care, and ironically, these workers are the last to get paid out of the scheme though they are first responders. Sometimes their pay is withheld if government insurance has not paid, sometimes as much as two weeks. Even if it is the government, pay can not be withheld, wages are given for work done. PAY YOUR TRANSPORT BILLS ON TIME.
  • The UnAffordable Care Act does not standardize the cost of all common medical procedures in the U.S. to make insurance competitive or affordable. Though this may vary from hospital to hospital, each hospital is required to make a cost procedure available for download online and one copy at the hospital, whatever they charge. If hospitals do not comply, they will be subject to I.R.S. investigation, civil lawsuits, and fines for every 30 days this information is not available or up-to-date.


THIS REFORM LEGISLATION WILL BE UPDATED TO INCLUDE WHAT BASIC ITEMS SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER COST PROCEDURES OR CARE PROVIDED, SO THAT HOSPITALS CAN ASSURE THAT THEY ARE IN COMPLIANCE, THOUGH HOSPITALS MAY BEGIN DRAFTING THESE MATERIALS NOW, THEY MUST HAVE THEM AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC AT THEIR FACILITY AND ONLINE BY 1/1/13, OR THEY WILL BE REPORTED FOR TAX FRAUD.

In accordance with current federal immigration laws and standards of citizenship, it has been brought to our attention routinely that President Barack Obama is not authentically a citizen of the United States, but of Kenyan birth. Therefore, the role of state governments is to report to the federal government agencies handling immigration and deportation matters, or ICE. Restricting state laws meant to comply with existing federal laws is not only ludicrous, but shows a blatant disregard for the citizens who do pay taxes.

While Georgia has lost over $20 million dollars in immigration fees and 2-3% in tax revenue annually, this is not necessarily an issue of Amnesty or naturalization that Obama has politicized for votes and his own lack of citizenship; it is an issue of willful law breaking, tax evasion, and a strained system resultant from ineffective coordination of state government costs with respect to federal enforcement that is both cooperative, collaborative, and truly diplomatic in our relationship to Mexico.

States may sue the federal government for the lost immigration fees, or they may levy the appropriate fines upon those who have not registered for citizenship or upon those who do not have VISAS: usually the financial burden is enough to encourage people to go back to Mexico without us having to foot the cost of imprisonment or for a one-way deportation.

Now, based on arrests and the costs of processing those arrests: the message is simple... either comply with the federal immigration program in ENTIRETY and PAY UP, OR GET OUT!! It is up to each state to report these findings of judicial costs, to be monitored for waste, with this Act. The Southern States have six months to analyze this, and report to Congress by 6-1-2012 their findings for Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California, who all share an immigration burden outside lawful federal requirements, in varying proportions, but especially Texas and Arizona who are victimized by cartel violence with California having a 15% unemployment rate, and the federal government will have to take this into consideration for states adhering to budgetary law and proper appropriation to remedy these issues. The IRS may assist and census workers, so there is plenty of work to be done now through next June.

In gearing towards the border being manned by drones, we are creating a hostility that is unnecessary; as the border needs to be well patrolled, sealed, and monitored for information collection.

The proposal has been put on the table that everyone who does not have a US Driver’s license that they can verify with a passport, must apply for a Temporary Federal ID card. We had originally discussed equipping this with a bar code, charging 10% sales tax to buy items in the United States, so that we could retain revenue for services used. Driver’s License numbers or the TFID number could be entered into the cashier’s system, like it is for alcohol or the birthdate for a citizen OR BY SWIPING THE BAR CODE for all purchases, those buying domestically and those here visiting or working. We want to create a border that is not dysfunctional; one that operates lawfully and provides revenue, while properly protecting citizens and safeguarding the immigration process.
The ID cards would prevent useless waste of inquiries or expenditure of law enforcement’s time, prevent harassment by police, and it would give the federal government access to track who is coming in and out of the United States and for what purposes they are here and by monitoring commerce. This would also be without criminalizing legitimate workers or discriminating needlessly through undue scrutiny, with this system in place.

Until this Photo ID system can be implemented, it is NOT very wise to have an unmanned border with drones. It is a murderous electric fence, and it does nothing to protect citizens from immigrants already here, who go crazy over hearing their loved ones were killed on the border by our government. After all, by our penchant for importing 50% of Mexico’s drugs, we are half the problem, as Mexico is as well. Both countries are equally to blame for not coming to such diplomatic conclusions proposed in this Act.

While we are in a deficit, we can analyze the revenue figures, and approve implementation for July 1st, 2012, after getting the federal budget on a sustainable track of adhering to a $2.5 trillion annual revenue figure and a debt payment plan for deficit reduction.

If we do not adopt a border policy that includes basic legalization of marijuana for diplomatic control with respect to current state laws in this Act to take effect 1/1/12, as it is legal in California, then we are the hypocrites the cartels say we are.

Government must get out of the business of the Church: the federal government is not a grocery store, a health insurance company, or a hospital which all provide private services that are expenses of private citizens.

The Tea Party rests that he has been impeached. It is up to Congress to remove him from Office, but for all intent and purposes, he has been stripped of power.

Gregory Arthur Weiler II allegedly planned to bomb 48 churches in the Miami, Okla. area.
A 23-year-old Elk Grove Village, Ill. native has been arrested over his alleged plot to firebomb dozens of Miami, Okla. area churches.
Gregory Arthur Weiler II was charged Friday with possession of an explosive or incendiary device and violating Oklahoma's state anti-terrorism law, according to the Daily Herald.
Weiler was allegedly found with 50 Molotov cocktails which police say he planned to use to destroy every church in the Ottawa County area, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. The houses of worship include many different religions.
According to The Oklahoman, Weiler had detailed maps to the churches he targeted as well as notes on how to concoct Molotov cocktails in his motel room. He had checked into the motel on Sept. 20 with an Illinois drivers' license with a Washington, Ill. address, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The man's family told the Tribune that Weiler has long struggled with mental illness as well as addiction to heroin and alcohol.
Police have not said why Weiler targeted the churches in Miami.
Weiler is being held without bail at the Ottawa County Jail.

Mariah is "very concerned," reported Walters. "She doesn't fear anything would happen —- and I'm quoting —- but Nicki is unpredictable," and Maria says she "can't take a chance." She told Barbara she has beefed up her security.
Walters said there was an Idol meeting Wednesday morning and after it was over Nicki said to Mariah, "I love you, but we might fight again," and Mariah said, "No, we will not."

Everyone should know that I'm voting for Romney, because in this election particularly for how Obama defrauded 2008, I don't want my name misused for not voting or letting the chips fall where they may: Romney has gone out of his way to win me over, we are a far cry from the Bush days of the Republican Party who didn't care unless you made over $200,000 a year and donated or voted Republican by default in this post Tea Party era. I encourage all of you to vote for him, because it is not a wasted vote, no matter how you feel about it. Romney seriously cares about creating jobs and the America we all knew: not the one we've seen since Obama defrauded 2008.

Obama's family costs the US 20 times what royal family costs Britain

Time and time again we've had discussions on this site about the numerous and costly vacations, extravagant spending, and overall costs associated with this president and his family. Obama touts his belief on redistribution of wealth and taking from the rich (taxing the wealthy more) and giving that money to those that work hard too (or don't work) but just can't seem to get ahead. He is all about leveling the playing field. He is about us playing by the rules but the rules do not apply to him.
During the DNC Michelle Obama spoke how she and Barack understand your financial difficulties because they once were poor. We have heard Obama speak about how the rich should be taxed more (so he and Michelle and all their costly staff and Czars can spend their money) again to level the playing field. I find it ironic due to his great fascination with sports. I mean shouldn't every team be required to have players equal to one another so that we "level the playing field?" That way every team has the same opportunity to win and every loss will only be within a point or two always. In his world it doesn't matter if you go to college and earn the right to your income, we "need to level the playing field" so that the bum on the street (by his own actions) makes what the doctor makes despite the years of education and costs. Through the taxes on the rich the poor will have the same.... sorry I digress.
Here is the issue with this administration that acts as though they care about the economy, the middle class, the poor, etc... If this is true then why in the world would you spend like money grows on trees? Why would you jet set around costing the American people (who are already suffering as a people and nation right now) with more unnecessary costs? Okay, Okay, I know, he doesn't really care on the first place.
Obama suffers with a rock star mentality yet has no skill as a rock star except his ability to schmooze and talk a great game.
Is it any wonder that Obama spends more than the Royal Family? Not at all.

MSN Reports that UK newspapers are having a little chuckle about a new book reporting that Obama's family cost US taxpayers $1.4 billion last year alone, whereas the royal family cost the UK a measly $57.8 million – more than 20 times less than the First Family. Obama's expenditures include the salaries of his staff and Secret Service, as well as the maintenance of Air Force One, which he's required to take (and has been using increasingly in this election year).
The Daily Caller states: Author Robert Keith Gray writes in “Presidential Perks Gone Royal” that Obama isn’t the only president to have taken advantage of the expensive trappings of his office. But the amount of money spent on the first family, he argues, has risen tremendously under the Obama administration and needs to be reined in.
Gray told The Daily Caller that the $1.4 billion spent on the Obama family last year is the “total cost of the presidency,” factoring the cost of the “biggest staff in history at the highest wages ever,” a 50 percent increase in the numbers of appointed czars and an Air Force One “running with the frequency of a scheduled air line.
The Daily Caller goes on to say:
Aside from a salary, the president gets a $50,000 a year expense account, a $100,000 travel account, $19,000 entertainment budget and an additional million for “unanticipated needs,” he notes.
Here is a sample of other pricey taxpayer funded perks exclusively reserved for the president:
The president can to appoint high-paid staffers without Senate confirmation: Obama has 469 senior staffers and 226 are paid more than $100,000 a year, according to the book. Seventy-seven are paid as much as $172,000 per year. He also has appointed 43 “czars.”
The president can vacation for free at Camp David: Gray writes that each round trip made to Camp David costs the taxpayers $25,350. It’s also estimated that the combined transportation and personnel costs for a Camp David visit are $295,000 per night.
The president has a full-time movie projectionist in the White House theater: Projectionists sleep at the White House and are there 24 hours a day in case anyone needs to see a movie. “Compared to the 450 times President Carter used the movie theater in his four years in the White House, the average American citizen, according to industry statistics, goes out to see a movie slightly less than five times a year,” Gray writes.
The president’s family’s gets certain travel and security expenses paid while vacationing: “First Lady Michelle Obama drew flack from the media and irate citizens when it was disclosed that, not counting Saturdays and Sundays, she spent 42 days on vacation — within the span of one year.”
The president’s dog gets its own high-paid staffer: “Bo made the news when he and his handler were flown to join the president on vacation in Maine,” Gray wrote about the Obama family dog. “It has been reported that the first family’s dog handler was paid $102,000, last year.”
It is apparent Obama is out of touch with reality or he simply just doesn't care. Either way, this man has to go. Get to the polls and get others there on November 6th!

Churlish souls stint their contributions to the ministry and missionary operations, and call such saving good economy; little do they dream that they are thus impoverishing themselves. Their excuse is that they must care for their own families, and they forget that to neglect the house of God is the sure way to bring ruin upon their own houses. Our God has a method in providence by which He can succeed our endeavours beyond our expectation, or can defeat our plans to our confusion and dismay; by a turn of His hand He can steer our vessel in a profitable channel, or run it aground in poverty and bankruptcy. It is the teaching of Scripture that the Lord enriches the liberal and leaves the miserly to find out that withholding tendeth to poverty. In a very wide sphere of observation, I have noticed that the most generous Christians of my acquaintance have been always the most happy, and almost invariably the most prosperous. I have seen the liberal giver rise to wealth of which he never dreamed; and I have as often seen the mean, ungenerous churl descend to poverty by the very parsimony by which he thought to rise. Men trust good stewards with larger and larger sums, and so it frequently is with the Lord; He gives by cartloads to those who give by bushels. Where wealth is not bestowed the Lord makes the little much by the contentment which the sanctified heart feels in a portion of which the tithe has been dedicated to the Lord. Selfishness looks first at home, but godliness seeks first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, yet in the long run selfishness is loss, and godliness is great gain. It needs faith to act towards our God with an open hand, but surely He deserves it of us; and all that we can do is a very poor acknowledgment of our amazing indebtedness to His goodness.
